I grew up with Irish settler grandparents and during those times, St. Patrick’s Day used to be one of the most important days of the year for our family. In this set up, some traditions like music, the parade, the foods, and the dancing made this day extremely wonderful. This particular day used to be on 17th of March every year. People from other traditions as well as the folks from the true Irish heritage used to enjoy this wonderful celebration since it used to bring many people together.
Some individuals had it in their mind that this special day was celebrated by the people in the United States and Ireland. Surprisingly, folks from Germany all the way to Tokyo regard this day highly too. That’s what you are going to see in this video. It’s also a big day in Australia.
When New York City has the world biggest celebration, the Irish dancers in Australia decided to come up with a great show for people passing at the ever busy central railway station. You will notice a young boy coming from nowhere and starts dancing to some traditional music. Minutes later he’s joined by a group of dancers!
