We are often loved more by our dogs than we will ever realize. This is a picture of Hachiko, an Akita. He and his master lived in Japan. Every day, Hachiko would go meet his master, a professor at a University in Tokyo, at the Shibuya Station, but one day in 1925, his master didn’t come home.
Hachiko would never know why his master didn’t come home (the man had suffered a brain hemorrhage and died). Hachiko sat and waited for 10 long years for his master to come home, he arrived every day at the station just as he had always done. News of the dedicated dog spread and a Hollywood movie, starring Richard Gere, was made to tell this loving and amazing story.
